About Me

I am an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics in connection with the Spring 2027 program Metric Algebraic Geometry: Going Global. My research interests are in applied algebraic geometry, specifically algebraic statistics and metric algebraic geometry.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from UC Berkeley in May 2026, under the supervision of Bernd Sturmfels and Serkan Hoşten. In my dissertation, Metric Algebraic Geometry of Grassmannians, I study optimization problems on Grassmannians arising in applications from the perspective of algebraic geometry. I received my B.S. from Harvey Mudd College with High Distinction and Honors in Mathematics. My undergraduate thesis was advised by Michael Orrison and is titled Long Increasing Subsequences.
